Education Outside the Classroom
New Zealand's stunning landscapes offer endless opportunities for personal growth, connection with others, and self-discovery. At Rosehill College, we embrace the transformative power of nature through our comprehensive Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) programme.
With a proud tradition of outdoor education, we are fortunate to have ongoing access to the Waharau Outdoor Education Centre, nestled in the breathtaking Hunua Ranges. This exceptional facility serves as a base for various outdoor experiences that enrich our students' lives.
Each year, our Year 10 students embark on an unforgettable camp experience, led by our enthusiastic Year 12 leaders. Many students highlight these camps as some of their most cherished memories at Rosehill College, where friendships are forged, challenges are embraced, and lifelong skills are developed.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there! We offer a wide range of EOTC experiences tailored to accommodate students of all skill levels and confidence. Whether it's hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, or team-building activities, our programmes are designed to engage, inspire, and empower every student.
