We are here to assist you with a smooth and efficient re-enrolment process.
In-zone enrolment
In-zone Enrolment
Complete your application online for a fast and straightforward process.
If you do not have access to an electronic device, computers are available at our front office for you to complete your online enrolment. Our front office staff are also available to assist you with the process.
In-zone Enrolment, Step by Step
BEFORE YOU START
We recommend completing your enrolment application online using a desktop computer or laptop, as this provides the best experience.
Before you begin, download and complete the required enrolment forms. These can be filled in electronically using Microsoft Edge or Adobe Acrobat. Save the completed forms, as you will upload them in the Attachments section of the online application.
Submitting an online application does not automatically confirm enrolment. Every application is reviewed, and we will contact you by email once the enrolment process has been completed.
Need help?
If you are unable to upload your forms or supporting documents, you can still submit your online application first. The remaining documents can then be:
- emailed to [email protected], or
- brought to the school office.
Our front office team is happy to help scan documents and add them to your application if needed.
If you would rather complete a paper application, enrolment packs are available from the school office between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
CHECK YOUR SCHOOL ZONE
Students who live within the Rosehill College enrolment zone are entitled to enrol. If you are unsure whether your address is in zone, simply enter it using the link below.
ENROLMENT FORMS
The following forms are required as part of your enrolment application:
- Student Health Record
- In-zone Enrolment Questionnaire
- Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) Consent Form
All forms must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian. Applications cannot be processed until all required signatures have been received.
Before submitting your application, we also encourage you and your child to read The Rosehill College Way. It outlines our expectations for attendance, uniform, behaviour and school life, helping students make a positive start at Rosehill College.
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Please upload clear digital copies of the following documents. PDF format is preferred, although PNG and JPG files are also accepted.
Required documents
- Student’s Birth Certificate or Passport. If the student is an Australian citizen, a copy of their Passport is required.
- Student Visa (if the student is not a New Zealand or Australian citizen).
- Legal or guardianship documents, where applicable — e.g. Parenting Orders, Guardianship Orders, Custody Orders, Protection Orders.
Proof of Address
Please provide two different proof of address documents. Both documents must clearly show the caregiver's name, the supply address or rating unit where the student lives, and the most recent available date. Please ensure the documents shows this information, as some utility bills display only the postal address on the first page.

- Document 2 (choose one): Electricity Bill, Water Bill or Gas Bill
Unable to provide proof of address?
You must complete a Statutory Declaration confirming your current residential address, signed and witnessed by an authorised person such as a Justice of the Peace. Applications cannot be finalised until acceptable proof of address or a completed Statutory Declaration has been received. For further information or assistance, please contact the enrolment office.
Additional document

Naming your files
Please name each file as Surname, First Name Document Type — for example, “Smith, John Enrolment Forms.pdf”.
CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT
Once we have received your application and all required documents, we will review your enrolment. For students who live within the Rosehill College enrolment zone, enrolment will be confirmed once all information has been verified. Processing times may vary during busy enrolment periods.
When your child’s enrolment has been approved, we will send a confirmation by email. Please ensure the email address and phone number provided on your application are correct so we can contact you if we need to.
Under the Education and Training Act 2020, schools may cancel an enrolment if it is later found that a student was not living permanently within the Rosehill College enrolment zone at the time the application was made.
Ready to apply? In-zone families
Once you have read the steps above and prepared your forms and documents, start your online application. Online applications are for in-zone families only — out-of-zone families, please see below.
Out-of-zone enrolment
Out-of-zone Enrolment
All out-of-zone enrolment applicants must collect an Out-of-zone Enrolment Pack from the school reception. Online applications for out-of-zone enrolments are not accepted and will not be processed.
A non-refundable administration fee of $50 is payable when the completed out-of-zone application is submitted. This fee applies to all out-of-zone applications and is not refundable, regardless of the outcome of the ballot process.
How out-of-zone places are allocated
Each year, the Rosehill College Board will determine the number of places likely to be available in the following year for the enrolment of students who live outside the home zone. The Board will publish this information on our school website. The notice will indicate how applications are to be made and will specify a date by which all applications must be received.
Applications for enrolment will be processed in the following order of priority:
- First priority: this priority is not applicable at this school because the school does not run a special programme approved by the Secretary for Education.
- Second priority: will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students.
- Third priority: will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.
- Fourth priority: will be given to any applicant who is a child of a former student of the school.
- Fifth priority: will be given to any applicant who is either a child of an employee of the board of the school or a child of a member of the board of the school.
- Sixth priority: will be given to all other applicants.
If there are more applicants in the second, third, fourth, or fifth priority groups than there are available places, selection within the priority group will be determined by ballot, conducted in accordance with the instructions of the Secretary under Section 11G(1) of the Education Act 1989. Parents will be informed of the ballot date by notice in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school.
Applicants seeking second or third priority status may be required to give proof of a sibling relationship.
