Gateway Co-ordinator
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Gateway Co-ordinator to join our Careers Team in a permanent full time position. Rosehill College is committed to creating pathways for students to explore their potential and develop valuable career skills through practical, real-world experiences. As a Gateway Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to directly impact students’ futures by facilitating their participation in meaningful work placements. The successful candidate will be passionate about empowering secondary students as they navigate their future paths.
Key responsibilities are:
Working with students through the Gateway Programme, facilitating and managing suitable work placements in the community, developing individualised learning plans in collaboration with employers, training providers and students, completing and reporting data documentation to TEC.
Qualifications and Skills
Having relevant experience in education, career coordination or a similar field. Knowledge of Career Pathways, familiarity with career development processes and student support in educational environments.
Communication Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, staff and external partners.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant must be flexible and committed and a good team player. A full drivers licence and police vetting will be required.
