Rosehill College Kapahaka Group Shines at Polyfest 2025
On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the Rosehill College Kapahaka group made their long-awaited return to the Polyfest stage after a six-year absence. Under the expert guidance of our talented tutors, Whaea Puhi and Matua Wills, our tauira performed with pride, showcasing their dedication, mana, and passion for the kaupapa.
Polyfest 2025 marked a special moment for our school, as our kapa took to the stage to represent not only Rosehill College, but also their whānau, iwi, and wider communities. The performance was nothing short of spectacular, reflecting the hard work and commitment that went into months of practice. Our students gave their best, demonstrating their deep connection to our school’s values of Manaakitanga (caring and hospitality), Whanaungatanga (family and relationships), Hihiritanga (excellence), and Tino Rangatiratanga (self-determination).
The energy and spirit displayed by our tauira left the audience in awe. Their performance embodied the strength, pride, and unity that come from working together as a whānau. The mana and kaha they brought to the stage was a true reflection of our school’s culture and vision.
Rosehill College is incredibly proud of our Rangatahi for their dedication and determination in preparing for this prestigious event. Our school-wide whānau, and the extended whānau whānui, are bursting with pride and can’t wait to see what this talented group has in store for us in the future.
