Farewell to Three Esteemed Rosehill College Staff Members
At our 2024 Senior Prizegiving, we bid a heartfelt farewell to three valued members of the Rosehill College staff who have dedicated years of service to our school community. Each of them has contributed greatly to their respective areas, leaving a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire students and colleagues alike.
Jo Carter, our Head of Faculty for English, has been a pivotal figure in fostering a love for literature and developing critical thinking skills in students. Jo’s leadership in the English faculty has shaped a supportive and engaging environment, where students have thrived in their studies and developed a lifelong appreciation for language and storytelling.
Sue Banham, the Head of Faculty for Arts, has championed the creative talents within Rosehill College, guiding students in their artistic pursuits and encouraging them to express themselves. Under her leadership, the Arts faculty has flourished, offering a vibrant space for creativity and self-discovery that has enriched our school community.
Steve Williams, the Head of House for Atawhai, has been a guiding force for students in his house, providing support, encouragement, and mentorship. Known for his compassionate approach, Steve has fostered a sense of belonging and unity among students, making Atawhai House a place where students feel valued and inspired to do their best.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Jo, Sue, and Steve for their years of dedication and commitment to Rosehill College. Their contributions have made a significant impact, and they will be truly missed. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours, knowing they will continue to inspire and make a difference wherever they go.
