Last week students in their Tutor Groups took part in the Six60 Pepeha Song Challenge hosted by Deaf Aotearoa for New Zealand Sign Language Week, where they were tasked with learning to sign sing a small verse of Six60’s song Pepeha. The winning Tutor Group will get House points!

The winning Tutor Group is… RJM!
Congratulations! You all took the tough challenge of doing the full song and nailed it! You also went the extra mile and introduced yourselves in NZSL!

Please note: Flashing lights warning, please take caution if you are photosensitive.

Second place goes to: RWE
and third place goes to: TAN

I hope all of the Tutor Groups enjoyed learning a little bit of sign language and sign singing! If you would like to learn more about NZSL, head over to the Deaf Aotearoa website for more information! Thank you Deaf Aotearoa for giving us this opportunity to learn more about your language and culture!
