Firstly, Rosehill College would like to pass on all our aroha and support to our whanau and the community during this difficult time.
Kia hora te marino May peace be widespread
Kia whakapapa pounamu te moana May the sea be like the greenstone
Hei huarahi ma tatou i te rangi nei A pathway for us all this day
Aroha atu, aroha mai Give love, receive love
Tatou i a tatou katoa Let us show respect for each other
Rosehill College is now in lock down and there is no physical access for staff or students until the lock down is lifted. If you have questions can you please direct your inquiries in the following way:
Teaching and Learning:
During the Term 2 Distance Learning phase a students week will look like the following
Monday to Thursday = Distance Learning
Teachers will set work in chunks of two periods. Online meetings with teachers will occur during their normal timetabled periods only if required. Teachers will post if a meeting is to occur and if it is a Google Meet, Google Hangout, or other format.
Friday = Student Wellbeing:
The first purpose for Fridays is for Tutor Group Teachers and Heads of Houses to check on students academic progress and wellbeing.
Students will connect to a variety of House challenges available on their Tutor Group Google classroom or House Instagram page to promote connection, and fun and break up the lockdown blues.
Fridays will not have set academic lessons but students can continue their work at their own pace.
Specific questions from students for their teacher must be done via their specific subject Google Classroom
